About the charity – Nordoff Robbins

What we do

Nordoff Robbins delivers music services and transforms the lives of vulnerable people of all ages, all over the UK. The many thousands of people we help suffer from a range of conditions such as autism, dementia and mental health problems, but all have one uniting factor - music dramatically improves their quality of life.

How we help

Through music, we give individuals the ability and confidence to express themselves, engage with others and communicate where they may have not been able to do so previously. The results can have a profound impact on individuals, their families and all those around them.

About our services

Nordoff Robbins is the largest charitable provider of music therapy services in the UK. We deliver over 45,000 sessions per year in our centres, units, schools, day centres, hospitals and care homes. Our work is expanding to meet our vision of reaching as many people in as many settings as possible. Our world-renowned training and research programmes ensure our work is delivered to the highest standard.

Why we need your support

Our income is not guaranteed. We need to raise at least £3million each year and much more if we are to meet the increasing demand for our life-transforming music services. You can help us tap into music’s extraordinary power to reach out and inspire those who need us.

The power of music affects us all, but for those supported by Nordoff Robbins, music can transform lives.
